【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversstructuralqualityalloysteelplates.1.2Theplatesareusuallyspecifiedtochemicalcompositionrequirements,buttensilepropertiesmayalsobespecified.1.2.1Whentensilepropertiesarerequired,thespecificrequirementsmustbecompatiblewiththechemicalcomposition,condition,andplatethickness.1.3Theplatesareavailableinthefollowingfourconditions:1.3.1ConditionARAsrolled(hotrolled),1.3.2ConditionA-Annealed,1.3.3ConditionNNormalized,and1.3.4ConditionNT-Normalizedandtempered.1.4Theplatesareavailableinthefollowingthreeforms:1.4.1FormI-Rectangular,1.4.2FormII-Circularandsemi-circular,and1.4.3FormIIISketch,includingrings.1.5Theplatesareavailableinthefollowingfiveedgecategories:1.5.1Edge1-Milledge,1.5.2Edge2-Universalmilledge,1.5.3Edge3-Shearededge,1.5.4Edge4-Gascutedge,and1.5.5Edge5-Specialcutedge.1.6Theplatesareavailableinthefollowingsevenfinishes:1.6.1Finish1-Asrolled(hotrolled),1.6.2Finish2-Blastcleaned,1.6.3Finish3-Blastcleanedandoiled,1.6.4Finish4-Pickled,1.6.5Finish5-Pickledandoiled,1.6.6Finish6-Painted,oneprimecoat,and1.6.7Finish7-Painted,oneprimecoatandonefinishcoat.1.6.8TheplatesareusuallyspecifiedtohaveFinish1.1.7Supplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforadditionalrequirementsthatmaybespecifiedontheorder.1.8Whenthesteelistobewelded,itispresupposedthataweldingproceduresuitableforthegradeofsteelandintendeduseorservicewillbeutilized.SeeAppendixX3ofSpecificationA6/A6Mforinformationonweldability.1.9Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
