【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthefollowingpropertiesofrefractoryshapes:1.1.1Apparentporosity,1.1.2Liquidabsorption,1.1.3Apparentspecificgravity,and1.1.4Bulkdensity.1.2Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletoallrefractoryshapesexceptthosethatchemicallyreactwithbothwaterandmineralspirits.Whentestingamaterialcapableofhydrationorotherchemicalreactionwithwaterbutwhichdoesnotchemicallyreactwithmineralspirits,mineralspiritsissubstitutedforwaterandappropriatecorrectionsforthedensitydifferencesareappliedwhenmakingcalculations.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.TestMethodsC20coverproceduresfortestingpropertiesofrefractoriesthatarenotattackedbywater.
